Valentine Gift Box Made of Paper

Hello 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop and Dreaming Tree Fans! Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility to bring you our monthly collaboration.

This month, with Valentine’s Day around the corner, I decided to make a handmade Valentine gift box using the Sweetheart Picnic Basket from Dreaming Tree. I just love this basket/gift box.

I decided not to use heart cardstock but the new “Little Ladybug” Collection from Echo Park. That way it can hold a Valentine gift, but be enjoyed after the holiday. There are tons of scrapbook paper options at 12x12 Cardstock Shop that would be adorable for this project.

I love how the top opens up so you can put a bigger gift on the inside. And then each end of the top of the basket opens for either a gift card or a smaller gift. Such a fun way to give a gift!
