After cutting all of my pieces, I laid them out egg by egg so I knew which color belonged to each set. In this first section, we’ll go ahead and start assembly for our Egg Pals boxes.

I’m going to show you how to assemble the chick box, but you’ll be able to repeat the steps for the pink egg bunny boxes. In my design software, I did go ahead and create small circles for the eyes, ears and beak for the bunny and chick - this is optional. Since I’m starting with the chick box, I folded along the tabs that needed to be glued for assembly and then went and added glue onto the inside of the chick (non textured part of the cardstock) and placed the circles on top of each respective piece.

Now that we can see what the front and back pieces of our box will look like, it’s time to glue the side tabs that will form the box. I did one panel at a time, with 4 or 5 tabs each until I was done. Be careful so that you can line up the tabs perfectly.

That’s it! That’s how simple and easy to put together these boxes are. Now it’s time to fill with crinkle paper and add some candy!

Here’s the final look of our three assembled Egg Pal boxes.

It’s time for our next style of boxes. In addition to the pieces above, each box will have an additional piece which is the egg-box portion. We can start with this piece and set aside. You’ll want to fold along the tabs and then add glue to each tab until all four sides are complete.

Next, we’ll go ahead and start gluing our layers for the box. You can either do top layer to bottom, or bottom to top - whatever works best for you! I worked from the top layer to the bottom. Once I had all four layers glued, I added glue onto the top of the box I set aside when we started, and then placed the designed cracked egg on the front. I repeated this for the back portion of the box.

Now, we’re going to assemble the pretty little bunnies inside. There’s only three layers so this part will also be super fast. I started by adding glue on the inside of the bunny (non textured side) and then placed the black piece inside. I decided to add foamies to give it a little height from the back final layer, but this is optional. Now that we’ve added the final layer, it’s time to add the cracked egg shell to the top, following the same pattern as we did before, gluing top to bottom. Now glue the shell on the bunny and on the back bottom half of the bunny, add glue to insert into the back of the egg box (make sure it is glued inside so that you see the pretty shell design on the front and back).
