Rolled Glitter Paper Flowers Calendar Decor

Hi friends! Bettina here with Rosy Bee Creative bringing you a rolled paper flower craft perfect for the new year! This tear-off calendar with magnets features rolled paper flowers made out of Mirri Sparkle Glitter Cardstock. 

Supplies:

• Mirri Sparkle Glitter Cardstock in Twilight
• Mirri Sparkle Glitter Cardstock in Gold Touch
• Slotted Quilling Tool
• Hot Glue Gun & Hot Glue Sticks
• Wooden Skewer Sticks 4mm in size
• Rolled Paper Flower Template (search #M3D7E1 in Design Space)
• 3 cut at 5.6” wide
• 3 cut at 2.6” wide
• 2024 Tear-off Calendar from Gracious Bee Greetings 
• 6” unfinished wood round
• Four 18mm round magnets

Rolled Paper Flower Video Tutorial

To roll the flowers, I prefer to use a slotted quilling tool.  Make sure when you roll the flowers that the sparkle side is on the inside, that way it will show when you roll out the petals at the end. 

Once rolled, I use a little bit of hot glue to secure the flower.

I also like to use a 4mm wooden skewer to “fluff” the petals. It gives this simple flower style more dimension.

I continued rolling and fluffing until I had 3 large flowers and 3 small flowers.

Using hot glue, I attached the tear off calendar to the wood round.

Next, I added a couple leaf cutouts to the sides. 

After that, I added the 3 large, rolled flowers to the top and the 3 small rolled flowers right under them.
