Paper Barn Fall Dimensional Paper Project

Paper Barn Fall Dimensional Paper Project

Hello 12 x 12 Cardstock Shop & Dreaming Tree Fans! Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility, bringing you this month’s fun collaboration with our friends at Dreaming Tree!

dimensional paper barn fall DIY project

With Fall in the air, I think of apple orchards and pumpkin patches with big beautiful barns. This is why I chose the project I did. I chose the Red Barn SVG from the Down on the Farm Collection from Dreaming Tree. This dimensional paper barn project is such a cute fall DIY project.

Supplies:

I used ink to ink my edges on most all pieces. On the siding of the barn, I used an embossing folder of straight stripes. This appeared to me as siding on the barn. Taking ink, I swiped the red downward, following the stripes, to give a more rustic look. The pictures don’t show this very well but it looks very distressed.

I also distressed the back, which you can see better in the photos. This was such a fun fall craft to make with cardstock from 12x12 Cardstock Shop.

I plan on using this for a “Thank You for Having Us“ hostess gift box. I will line it with plastic wrap or foil and put homemade bread or cookies in it. Afterwards, my friends can use it as a luminated fall centerpiece by putting a battery-operated tea light in it.

I hope you like the barn as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Until next time,

Christi
