What do you get when you take 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop cardstock and add a beautiful file from Dreaming Tree? The most beautiful paper flower bouquet for Mother's Day!
Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility. Excited to bring a fun flower bouquet I made.
Supplies Used:
- American Crafts Peach
- American Crafts Lemon
- Bazzill Dotted Swiss Grape Jelly
- Bazzill Mono Heather
- Bazzill Fourz Fairytale
- Bazzill Fourz Pixie Dust
- Bazzill Mono Nixon
- Bazzill Mono Aspen
- Gems from my stash
- Babies breath from my stash
I made this gorgeous floral bouquet from the Alluring Florals Bundle from Dreaming Tree. You can find a wonderful tutorial by Leo on YouTube, just follow the link I provided.
I made this for my mother for Mother's day so I stuck with the purple family of cardstock as it's her favorite. I added a bit of peach for an accent color.
I started with the Fantasy Flower that was a made up flower by Dreaming Tree. I think it is absolutely a gorgeous flower and I used Bazzill Fourz Pixie Dust and Bazzill Mono Nixon, for the stamen of this flower.
Next up is a stunning rose made with the American Crafts Peach. I also used this color as the base /background to my pot that holds my flowers. I think it gives the purple just the right "pop" that it needed.
The third flower I made was a simple, but pretty, mum in Bazzill Mono Heather with the American Crafts Peach for the stamen. This helped tie it in with the rest of the flowers.
Last, but not least, I made this gorgeous Iris with Bazzill Fourz Fairytale and American Crafts Lemon for the inside. I then used Bazzill Mono Apen for the leaves.
For the panels on the peach container, I had one piece of Bazzill Dotted Swiss Grape Jelly that I thought went perfect with my theme. I think it looks stunning . I then topped it with some purple and peach rhinestones, I had in my stash, around the bottom rim.
Using some baby's breath I had in my stash, I stuck some in and about the arrangement to finish it off.
One last look at the finished project. I can say, this is one of my all time favorites. You can never go wrong with Bazzill, American Crafts and a file from Dreaming Tree!
Till Next time!
-Christi
