How To Cut Cardstock On Cricut And Other Electronic Cutting Machines

Though the chart above is a good starting point, please note that every machine cuts slightly different. Some factors that could affect cutting are the age of the machine, the wear and tear on blades and mats, and even the the humidity in your location. These cut settings should be tested for your particular machine before cutting larger designs. You should always do a small test cut and adjust your settings until you get a good cut, then cut your full design.

Encore Textured Cardstock Siser Romeo and Juliet Cut Settings for Cardstock

Siser is known for their vast array of vinyl options, but the new Siser Romeo and Juliet machines cut cardstock too. In fact, they do a great job of cutting cardstock! We've personally tested Encore textured cardstock on a Siser Juliet and it does great at cutting intricate designs. 

Before cutting cardstock on a Sisier cutting machine, you'll need to adjust your blade depth a bit deeper than you would for cutting vinyl. The Siser instruction manual recommends setting your blade to credit card depth for cutting cardstock. We found that guideline to be accurate for cutting Encore cardstock.
