Dimensional Paper Coffee Cup

Searching for a quick and cute way to give a gift to a coffee loving friend? Look no further! This Dimensional Paper Coffee Cup Gift Box is perfect – whether you’re saying thank you, or doling out a just because treat!

Supplies:

• Citrine Pearlescent Cardstock – Neenah Stardream
• Champagne Glitter Luxe Cardstock
• 3D Paper Coffee Cup Template from Etsy (or similar file): FILE HERE 
• Adhesive Foam Squares
• Hot Glue + Glue Gun
• Optional: Quilling Pen  + decorative sentiments (I added a rolled rose + Thank You).

The first step for this project is making sure you have a compatible SVG to work with. I purchased mine on Etsy – linked HERE.  It’s super simple and user friendly – even for beginners. Once the file has been imported, make sure to attach your score lines so that the folding process is smoother.

Begin cutting out all your material. I used Neenah Stardream Citrine Cardstock and Desert Sand Mirri Sparkle Glitter Paper so that my coffee cup would have a chic pop!

Once all your items have been cut out, it’s time to begin folding all the scored lines.

Once all the folding has been complete, it is time to begin assembling, one piece at a time. Taking each piece individually, carefully begin adding hot glue to the tabs, and connecting it with the corresponding piece. This sounds more intimidating than it actually is, so grab your glue and let’s get to it! The lid will have two (2) pieces to it, to add dimension. Make sure each part of the lid is fully assembled before you glue the two (2) lid pieces together.

Once all your pieces have been individually assembled, you have a beautiful coffee cup that’s perfect for gifting! The lid remains detachable so that it can be opened and closed back up. I choose to add additional decorative elements, a rolled rose on top – which I used a quilling pen to assist me with the rolling, and a decorative “Thank You” that I print and cut, which I adhered with foam squares.
