Easy Halloween Mummy Card

Make sure your "mummy" knows you love her this Halloween with a fun and easy mummy halloween card. This is a fun halloween card you can make with scraps and ink! Let's get started...

Take your Bazzill Mono Vanilla 12 x 12 cardstock and tear into strips less than one inch wide.  The Bazzill Vanilla cardstock is a pretty sturdy paper so it will take a little bit of muscle to tear into strips, BUT the sturdy paper makes the tearing more interesting with all the layers it has when torn.

Take a tan (kraft) ink and with a very light hand, brush some ink on the torn edges to age the "fabric".  We like to use the linen textured side, as it looks more like mummy fabric!

Take a thin piece of copy paper (A2 card front size) and cover with adhesive, laying the torn strips down, overlapping the edges as you go.

Trim the "fabric" card panel down to A2 card front size (4" x 5 1/4").  I used  a Stitched Die from My Favorite Things to give it the punched edge look. Take two white 1" circles and two black 1/2" circles and make eyeballs.  Tuck the eyeballs into the layers of the "fabric".  Add a scary sentiment and you have the cutest card for Halloween!
