Did you know you can use your die cuts to emboss?  The Bazzill Foil Cardstock at 12x12 Cardstock Shop embosses beautifully, so I thought it would be fun to show you how to emboss foil paper using your die cuts. 

All you need to have is a silicone rubber mat (available where you purchased your die-cutting machine). In your cutting machine, follow the directions for embossing and make your cutting plate "sandwich".  

Adding embossed foil embellishments will take your holiday cards to another level and because the foil paper cuts so cleanly, you can emboss and then cut out your design using thin sentiment dies. 

I used Red, Silver and Gold Mirror Foil 12 x12 Specialty Cardstock to make this card.
